Testing task: Navigate forwards into a checkbox group in reading mode

With JAWS in reading mode, describe how JAWS behaves when performing task "Navigate forwards into the checkbox group."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for JAWS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets focus on a link before the first checkbox.
  3. Verify the Virtual Cursor is active by pressing Alt+Delete. If it is not, turn on the Virtual Cursor by pressing Insert+Z.
  4. Navigate forwards into the checkbox group.
  5. Using the following commands, Navigate forwards into the checkbox group.

    • Tab
