Testing task: Navigate to the end of a modal dialog in reading mode

With JAWS in reading mode, describe how JAWS behaves when performing task "With the reading cursor on the 'Street' input inside a modal dialog, navigate to the end of the dialog."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for JAWS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that opens the 'Add Delivery Address' modal dialog, and sets focus on the first input.
  3. Verify the Virtual Cursor is active by pressing Alt+Delete. If it is not, turn on the Virtual Cursor by pressing Insert+Z.
  4. With the reading cursor on the 'Street' input inside a modal dialog, navigate to the end of the dialog.
  5. Using the following commands, With the reading cursor on the 'Street' input inside a modal dialog, navigate to the end of the dialog.
    • Control+End

Success Criteria

To pass this test, JAWS needs to meet all the following assertions when each specified command is executed:

  1. Role 'button' is conveyed
  2. Name 'Cancel' is conveyed
