Testing task: Close a nested modal dialog using a button

Describe how VoiceOver for macOS behaves when performing task "With focus on the 'Close' button inside a modal dialog, activate the button to close the dialog."

Test instructions

1. Restore default settings for VoiceOver for macOS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that opens the 'Add Delivery Address' dialog followed by the 'Verification Result' dialog, and sets focus on the 'Close' button inside the second dialog.
3. Toggle Quick Nav OFF by pressing the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys at the same time.
4. With focus on the 'Close' button inside a modal dialog, activate the button to close the dialog.
5. Using the following commands, With focus on the 'Close' button inside a modal dialog, activate the button to close the dialog.
   • Control+Option+Space
   • Space
   • Enter

Success Criteria

To pass this test, VoiceOver for macOS needs to meet all the following assertions when each specified command is executed:

1. Role 'dialog' is conveyed
2. Name 'Add Delivery Address' is conveyed
3. Role 'button' is conveyed
4. Name 'Verify Address' is conveyed
